Tanbi kei
Influenced seemingly by the neo-renaissance, the romantic era in Europe, Tanbi kei is a sub-genre of Kote kei, that takes a step beyond the decadence to the heart of grace and beauty. Tanbi suggests the pursuit of beauty, or the veneration of elegant allure. As a sub-genre, Tanbi kei carries with it the elaborate and intense, alongside religious symbols and a bit of glamour.
Bands such as Moran are seemingly part of Tanbi kei, as well as some Kote bands being considered among this group. The artist Kaya had declared himself Tanbi kei for his release "Taboo.”
Tanbi kei is sometimes associated with an air of innocence, and classical elements in the music, as well as some darker or heavier sounds. For the light appearance, classical sound, and religious symbols, some consider Secilia Luna Tanbi Kei.
